Our board members are responsible for setting our strategic direction and ambitious growth strategy. Collectively, they have many decades of food manufacturing experience as well as expertise in corporate investment and acquisitions expertise.
A graduate of the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester and a former dairy farmer, Simon understands the challenges involved in farming. Under his direction the company has achieved compound growth of more than 8% since 1995. We sell well over 100,000 tonnes of dairy ingredients per anum.
Dexter is the Chairman and Founding Partner of our equity partners Paine Schwartz Partners. He has more than 20 years’ investment experience in the food and agribusiness sectors. Previously, he was with Kohlberg & Company, where he established the West Coast office having begun his professional career at Bankers Trust Company. He serves on numerous boards, including being chairman of the US Ski Association.
Most recently as the CEO of the UK food manufacturer Samworth Brothers, Lindsey helped the business achieve significant top-line growth and strong returns, completing two acquisitions and recruiting a new executive board. She originally joined Samworth in 1995, joining the board in 2001 before going on to chair various businesses within the group. She is also currently a Non-Executive Director of Tesco plc.
James served as CEO and Chairman of R&R Ice Cream, Europe’s largest private label ice cream manufacturer until 2015. Named EY UK Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014, he currently serves as the Chairman of the boards of Animalcare Group plc, Burton’s Biscuit Co, Wagg Foods Limited and Whitman Howard, as well as being a Non-Executive Director of Story Homes.
Jack brings more than 35 years of experience in leading organisations and investing in the worldwide food, consumer products and specialty ingredients industries. He joined Paine Schwartz Partners as Operating Director in 2006. Before that he was a Senior Advisory Director with private equity firm, Fremont Partners, where he was instrumental in the acquisition and successful divestiture of Specialty Brands Inc.
John is a Director with Paine Schwartz Partners and joined the firm in 2010. He also serves on the board of Eurodrip S.A and between 2004 and 2010, he was a member of Swander Pace Capital, a middle-market private equity firm where he focused on investing in manufacturers, marketers and distributors of consumer products. John began his career in the consumer and retail investment banking group of Banc of America Securities.
