Our key management team has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the dairy industry that has helped us to successfully develop and grow. We know that the dairy market is a complex industry. But the approach and insight of our team has helped us to remain a stable milk buyer, processing and manufacturing the highest quality dairy ingredients 365 days a year.
Mark is responsible for our overall performance, including managing, developing and executing the company’s long term strategic objectives and ambitious growth plans. With a first-class degree in economics, he joined the family business in 2011 as part of our management training programme. Having successfully delivered significant top-line growth and improvements in profitability, he was promoted to CEO of the group in 2017.
Jack is responsible for managing the ongoing business operations of all four divisions within our business. He has been with us for more than ten years and, with a background as a chartered management accountant, has worked across financial, commercial and operational roles, having previously held the position of Commercial Director of our Confectionery Division.
Damian is responsible for delivering the financial planning and reporting for our business, as well as for the company’s IT function. After graduating with a civil engineering degree, he moved into finance, spending a decade with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an audit accountant. He joined our accounts team in 1994 before taking over as Finance Director
Pamela is responsible for our three factories, ensuring they are productive, co-ordinated and best in class. Working closely with site directors and group managers, she divides her time between our production sites, developing and sustaining the operational progress made over recent years. She joined the business in 2008 from Nestlé, where she worked for more than 20 years in quality and technical roles as well as in processing, packing and milk procurement.
Jim is responsible for our milk procurement and logistics department. A graduate of the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, he has worked in the dairy industry for 22 years, joining us in 2007. Since then, Jim has developed the producer milk pool from 150 farmers with 120 million litres to more than 650 producers with 650 million litres. Jim also manages all of our logistics, an integral function in the business.
Patrick is responsible for the sale of butteroil and butter ghee, as well as the procurement of raw materials required for butteroil production. He has 35 years’ experience of the dairy industry with Milk Marketing Board, Robert Wiseman Dairies and most recently as Managing Director of Roil Foods.
Gary is responsible for sales and purchases of third-party bulk milk across the business, as well as sales of skimmed milk concentrates. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the dairy industry, initially working for the Milk Marketing Board and Unigate before joining us in 1999.
Jamie is responsible for procurement and sales of bulk creams across our business. He also has responsibility for the sales of anhydrous milk fat and butter produced at our Chester site. He joined us in 2000 from Unigate where he was responsible for dairy trading for more than a decade.
Paul has commercial responsibility for sales across all divisions, working alongside Jamie Barrell on anhydrous milk fat and butter sales. He also has responsibility for new product development and customer service departments. With more than 20 years’ experience in the dairy ingredients sector, Paul has sales, production and operational experience.
