Meadow Foods is increasing its sales team with the appointment of Amy Fry as account manager.
Amy joins from cheese supplier Bradbury & Son and previously spent three years in Meadow Foods’ order processing department.
She rejoins the business this Autumn, taking responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with some of Meadow’s major food manufacturingcustomers. She will also use her categoryexpertise to advise manufacturers on latest trends within the dairy market – helping them to secure affordable, quality supplies of products including butter, cream, AMF and chocolate crumb.
The move follows a successful year for Meadow Foods, which broadened its product portfolio to include cultured dairy products after the acquisition ofNene Valley Foods in 2009. Meadow now operates three state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in the UK and has direct relationshipswith a network of 520 dairy farmers – that collectively supply the business with more than 500m litres of milk.
Amy said: “Meadow is one of the few dairy ingredients companies that combines direct farm relationships with its own manufacturing expertise – making it ideally placed to offer genuine advice to customers.”
