Meadow Foods, the UK’s largest independent dairy and leading supplier of milk based dairy ingredients to the food industry, has launched a food service business targeting wholesalers, caterers and restaurant businesses. The new business will trade under the name of Green Valley Dairy.
Green Valley Dairy will provide a range of dairy products including full and low fat soft cheese, mascarpone, crème fraise, set soured cream and cottage cheese. The products will be sold directly to wholesale food distributors and will be available in 1kg and 2kg containers as individual units or in packs of three.
Meadow Foods will use their Grade A, BRC 6 approved site in Holme on Spalding Moor to manufacture the premium quality dairy products in order to maintain a highly competitive price. The product will be distributed by via its established chilled distribution network and available to customers within 48 hours of ordering.

We intend to run Green Valley Dairy as independent brand to Meadow Foods, whilst still using the business’ proven experience and expertise in the dairy sector.
