Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing the price they pay for milk by +0.3ppl from 1st January 2014. This will take their standard litre price to 32.55ppl. The price increase will be added to the flat rate element of Meadow’s pricing ensuring all producers receive the full benefit of the increase.
Simon Chantler, Executive Chairman at Meadow Foods, comments: “I am sure this increase will be welcomed by our producers and we hope this move will continue the forward momentum in the market place in the New Year.”
Simon continues, “We have again put the price increase on the flat rate element of the contract so producers get the benefit of the increase in full. We continue to successfully recruit new producers because of our simple price schedules where producers can achieve the headline prices.”
