Meadow operates from five large scale, well-invested UK food production sites with unique capabilities.
They provide the capacity and flexibility to service our customer’s dynamic requirements.
Home to our Milk, Fats and Plant-based divisions, as well as Meadow Head Office, the Chester site is located in the heart of the UK milk pool, one of the best dairy regions in the world. Established over 30 years ago, the 11-acre site runs 24/7, 365 days a year, supplying many of the best brands across Europe and the UK. It houses the UK’s largest milk balancing facilities, including two state-of-the-art RO plants, a butter plant and an AMF plant, as well as a fully segregated plant-based production unit.
Established in 2009, our Peterborough site is home to Meadow Fresh division and is the largest fresh dairy ingredients facility in the UK. Specialising in the production of milks, cream, cultured products and custard, the state-of-the-art facilities benefit from proximity to many of the UK’s leading food manufacturers.
Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, the only factory in the UK to independently manufacture sweetened condensed milk and chocolate crumb products, is part of Meadow Confectionery division. The 13-acre site near York also produces soft cheeses.
Our state-of-the-art production facility at Dolgellau in north-west Wales is home to Meadow Inclusions, part of Meadow Confectionery division. It’s here that we manufacture inclusions, decorations, and toppings for the world’s best brands, from specialist bakeries to confectionery, ice cream, dessert, cereal and snack manufacturers.
A recent addition to the Meadow family, Naked Foods is a manufacturer of fruit and confectionery preparations, sauces, fillings and compotes. Established in Kent in 2003, we supply other food manufacturers producing products such as bakery, chilled bakery and dairy (yogurts, ice cream, drinkable dairy).
